The majority of new car owners are people who are either students or young professionals who have just entered the corporate world as businessmen or corporate executives. They realize that they require car insurance for people under 25. The question most insurance companies ask themselves would probably be—what features are these young people looking for in their car insurance. Everyone knows that car insurance is a costly component, so a new driver would like to extend his scope of search for some cheap or budget car insurance under 25 .
Some newly licensed people find it extremely surprising that something as basic as an insurance cover should come at such a high price. Their disbelief is understandable as they consider themselves to be safe drivers; however they do not realize that statistically this age group is considered most prone to accidents—and the higher the possibility of accidents the costlier the insurance. That’s why just as they would be looking for cheap auto insurance below 25 it would be all the more difficult for them to actually find one.
So a young driver would be better advised to go in for a simple car that would be less hurting as far as payment of premiums are concerned compared to that of the luxury or the fast sports models. Young drivers should browse through the plethora of information available on the internet to help them find cheap car insurance under 25. Student drivers and drivers under 25 are regarded as part time drivers by most car insurance companies and consequently, the insurance rates and premium also differ for them. Also, if you are under 25 and can prove that you are pursuing studies full-time, you are entitled to a number of concessions. Another thing you can do to receive further concessions would be to merge your insurance with your parent’s insurance policy. Another money saving tip is to apply for a defensive driving course before applying for insurance—once you tell the insurance company that you are enrolled in this course at the time of applying for the insurance you will get a really good deal on the car insurance under 25 , with additional monetary concessions in your insurance premium.

More than 12 percent of Ohio’s drivers have a suspended driver’s license, but they still contribute to 20 percent of the state’s fatal crashes, according to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.
Reports obtained by the Dayton Daily News show about 16,900 drivers in the state of Ohio have been cited for driving under suspension just this year. Lt. Anne Ralston, public affairs commander for Ohio Highway Patrol, said that number is slightly lower than the same period in 2010, when it exceeded 17,000 drivers.
“It’s certainly a problem,” Ralston said. “Driving is a privilege and licensed drivers are required to go through testing, a renewal process, and have insurance.”
“Some habitual offenders will go on so long that their license will expire and they’re deemed not to have one at all,” Ralston said. “It’s obviously a problem because people driving under suspension aren’t getting their record taken care of. Either they have no money to pay fines or to get insurance.”
